Alice in Gondwanaland
Alice in Gondwanaland
Alice's adventures took her through Wonderland and into the Looking Glass. I wondered what it would be like if she reached Gondwanaland. Here she is translated from the Tenniel drawing of her, to the landscape at Lake Mungo, New South Wales, where the oldest Aboriginal human remains have been found, approximately 60,000 years old. Australia used to "ride on the sheep's back", and here is the trusty sheep. One of the largest buildings in the lake Mungo area is a large shearing shed in the middle of a sea of sand. 2000, 150cm x 75cm
